We do not sell user photos, face data, or AI photo inputs.

We do not broadly state that we share your personal information with affiliates or business partners for promotions unless and until that becomes true.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

The Services are provided through a mobile app. We do not use cookies for the app in the way websites typically do. We may still use mobile software development kits (SDKs), device-level identifiers, app instance identifiers, and similar technologies to provide core functionality, security, diagnostics, crash reporting, authentication, messaging, user preferences, analytics, and advertising attribution or measurement.

For advertising attribution and campaign measurement, we may use Meta/Facebook App Events, TikTok Events SDK, RevenueCat attribution features, and similar tools. These tools may collect or receive device identifiers, advertising identifiers such as IDFA where permitted, app events or product interactions, checkout events, and purchase or subscription events. We use this information to understand whether our own ads led to app installs or in-app actions, measure campaign performance, prevent fraud, and improve our marketing.

On iOS, where required, access to the advertising identifier and tracking across apps and websites is controlled by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings. If you do not allow tracking, the availability of advertising identifiers may be limited.

We do not sell user photos, face data, wardrobe images, AI photo inputs, or AI-generated outputs, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

5. How Do We Handle Your Logins?

You may be able to register or log in using email, Google, or Apple.

If you choose to sign in through a third-party provider such as Google or Apple, we may receive certain information from that provider, subject to your settings and permissions. We use that information only to authenticate you, create or manage your account, and provide the Services.

6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, please note that these countries may not have data protection laws equivalent to those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we will rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

We do not state that we participate in the Data Privacy Framework unless and until we actually do so.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate interests.

In general:

  • Account, wardrobe, planner, and personalization data may be retained while your account remains active;
  • Profile photos may be retained while your account remains active or until you change or delete them;
  • Outfit Check, Improve Outfit, and Virtual Try-On images and generated results are generally retained for up to 30 days plus the time needed for scheduled deletion, unless you delete them earlier or delete your account;
  • Temporary AI job input images are intended to be temporary and deleted after the requested AI job completes, subject to ordinary system backups, logs, and failure handling;
  • Color/style analysis photos processed locally on your device are not stored by us for that local analysis flow; saved color palettes or style-profile results may be retained while your account remains active;
  • Transaction and billing-related records may be retained as required by law or platform rules; and
  • Diagnostic, log, and backup data may be retained for a limited period as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, compliance, and disaster recovery.

When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your personal information, we will delete, anonymize, or securely store it until deletion is possible.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@alamoda.app.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on where you live, you may have rights that allow you to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

To submit a privacy-related request, contact us at support@alamoda.app. We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

Account information

If you would like to review, update, correct, or delete information associated with your account, or request account termination, you may do so through the app or by contacting us at support@alamoda.app.

Upon your request, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active systems where required or appropriate. We may retain certain information as necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, detect fraud, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our legal terms.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Some web browsers and mobile devices may offer Do-Not-Track settings or similar privacy preferences. Because no uniform technology standard has been adopted for recognizing and implementing these signals, we do not currently respond to them unless and until applicable law requires us to do so.

11. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

Yes. We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to remain compliant with relevant laws, reflect changes to the Services, or describe updated data practices. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a notice in the Services, on our website, or by other appropriate means.

12. How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?

If you have questions or comments about this Privacy Notice, or if you would like to exercise a privacy right, you may contact us by email at support@alamoda.app.

13. How Can You Review, Update, or Delete the Data We Collect From You?

Subject to applicable law, you may request to review, update, correct, or delete your personal information through the app or by contacting us at support@alamoda.app. We will review and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

14. AI, Photo, and Face Data Processing

Some features of the Services use AI and image-processing tools to analyze uploaded or selected images, generate styling suggestions, score outfits, create image-based outputs, and support virtual try-on or similar visual features. These features are optional and are used only when you choose to provide a photo, wardrobe image, or related styling input for that feature.

Face data and biometric information

Alamoda does not collect Face ID data, biometric identifiers, faceprints, face templates, facial embeddings, or other biometric data used to identify or authenticate you. Alamoda does not use facial recognition to identify users. However, photos you choose to upload or select may include a visible face. We refer to this in this Privacy Notice as photo or face-related information.

Depending on the feature you choose to use, we may process:

  • The outfit photo you select for Outfit Check or Improve Outfit;
  • Related styling context you provide, such as event type, analysis type, selected improvement tips, optional weather, temperature, date, or time;
  • The full-body photo and clothing item image you select for Virtual Try-On;
  • Wardrobe item photos, thumbnails, contact sheets, and wardrobe metadata used for wardrobe analysis or outfit suggestions;
  • Profile photos you choose to upload; and
  • Color/style analysis photos you choose to analyze on your device.

We use this information only to provide the feature you requested, including:

  • Analyzing an outfit and generating feedback, scores, and suggestions;
  • Generating an improved outfit image based on tips you select;
  • Generating a virtual try-on result using your selected full-body photo and garment image;
  • Analyzing wardrobe items and generating outfit suggestions;
  • Displaying a profile photo you choose to upload; and
  • Performing color/style analysis and saving derived palette or style-profile results if you choose to save them.

Color/style analysis may use on-device face detection to confirm a face is visible and help extract color palette information. For that local analysis flow, the selected selfie is processed on your device and is not uploaded by us for AI processing. If you save the result, we may store the derived color palette or style-profile information under your account.

Third-party AI and cloud processing

When you use optional AI photo features, images and related inputs you provide may be processed by us and by third-party AI or cloud service providers solely to provide, maintain, and secure those features. These providers may include:

  • Firebase and related Google Cloud services, which we use for authentication, storage, cloud functions, database services, app infrastructure, and secure processing;
  • Google Gemini/Google AI services, which we use for certain AI image analysis, image editing, wardrobe analysis, and outfit suggestion features; and
  • FASHN AI, which we use for virtual try-on generation.

We require service providers that process AI photos or related inputs to provide privacy and security protections consistent with this Privacy Notice and applicable law, and to use the information only to provide, maintain, and secure the services they provide to us. We do not sell user photos, face data, or AI photo inputs, and we do not use them for advertising profiles.

Retention of AI photos and generated results

Outfit Check, Improve Outfit, and Virtual Try-On photos and generated results are generally retained for up to 30 days plus the time needed for scheduled deletion, unless you delete them earlier or delete your account. Profile photos are retained while your account remains active or until you change or delete them. Temporary AI job input files are intended to be deleted after the requested job completes, subject to ordinary system backups, logs, and failure handling. Color/style analysis photos processed locally on your device are not stored by us for that local analysis flow; saved derived results may be retained while your account remains active.

AI-generated outputs are automated and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific preferences, body type, or intended use.

We do not use this clause to claim practices we do not perform. If our AI-related practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.
